Midsumma Festival
Midsumma Festival is Melbournes LGBTQIA+ epicentre of queer culture, expression and celebration. Over 3 weeks the festival includes space for LGBTQIA+ individuals to express, create and connect in the vibrant city of Melbourne.

The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras 2025 will take place from February 14 to March 2, 2025. The festival will include parties, theater, community events, and international performers. The parade will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025

Wear It Purple Day, an annual LGBTQIA+ awareness day for young people, is celebrated on the last Friday of August, encouraging participants to wear purple to show support and celebrate diversity. It is particularly focussed on showing support to LGBTQIA+ young people.
